The Crosbie Crew believes running is for everyone.
As a running club, we welcome and inspire people of all ages, abilities and goals in a fun non-competitive environment.
Have Fun with the Crew
Whilst we train hard and offer plenty of runs and training sessions, there is a fantastic, welcoming and very social side to the Crosbie Crew for those who want to get involved.
Our social scene includes:
- Breakfast/Coffee – Following the Saturday and Sunday morning runs
- Parma Night – After training on the first Tuesday of each month
- The Crosbie Crew Christmas Party – Annually in December
- AGM and Hall of Fame Night – Annually in June
- Melbourne Marathon Rehydration Party – Annually in October (the day of the Melbourne Marathon)
- Monthly BBQ’s starting Oct/Nov until daylight savings ends.
- Social events around the Great Ocean Road Running Festival, the Gold Coast Marathon and the Two Bays Trail Run.
Run with the Crew
The Crosbie Crew is a Melbourne based running group that provides training opportunities and programs for runners of all abilities, geared towards a range of events and distances.
With sessions to suit everyone, the crew attracts a wide variety of people with one thing in common – an enjoyment of running. Crosbie Crew members are now a familiar sight amongst the running scene in Melbourne as well as further afield.
Each year the crew is heavily involved in the iconic Run Melbourne and Melbourne Marathon events, including acting as run leaders for the training programs and as pacers on race days.
Expertise is shared freely within the group – shaping training programs, developing skills and inspiring each other to reach new heights. Every year we see new members achieve their running goals and go on to develop a long term passion for the sport.
We have a strong association with South Melbourne Athletics Club, which provides our members with the chance to test themselves against runners across Victoria throughout a varied winter cross country program and in the summer track and field season.
